gathering of cutters, collectors and enthusiasts of handmade wooden jigsaw puzzles. Many love jigsaw puzzles of any kind. The purpose is to share
I went to the last Parley in November of 2008 and since then have been sending my e-newsletter to the group. The organizers decided that it would be a good idea to have me do a presentation about my store and how I foster the love of puzzles in the community. I was given an extra round of applause for my efforts and support of people with Autism. Someone also asked if I would accept donations of puzzles and I said "Oh gosh, YES!" very excitedly. I have since received 3 puzzles for free, one of which is worth almost $3000. I feel so extremely grateful and fortunate. These puzzles that have been donated to the store are for my customers to play with so they can catch the "wooden puzzle bug" that many of my customers are catching. There's just something about the wooden hand cut puzzles that are just so much fun, besides being an incredible form of art.
So come into Jigsaw Java and come check out how fun the wooden puzzles are.
